An intriguing tale illustrated with monochromic images taken with an iPhone 4. Silent Haven: Departure marked the beginning of a surreal journey in search of an ancient town, long forgotten and lost in time.
Silent Haven was originally created in 2011 as a long running series in Instagram, but is no longer available in the app due to the creation of this book. It is also the first of many sub-series within the main series called 'the Silent series'. Although Silent Haven: Departure is the first of a two-part series, it serves as a self-contained volume as well. The second volume will be released at a later date. Influence and inspiration came from having great interest in the game series Silent Hill, which in turn is driven by the love of eerie foggy atmosphere.
